Rinosan nasal spray is recommended for natural moistening of nasal mucosa, for cold with nasal mucosa edema, with allergic rhinitis, for smokers, while exposed to dry and air- conditioned rooms, while exposed to dust and harmful atmospheric effects and for softening and removing of filth from nose.
Isotonic solution when introduced to a biologic tissue (nasal mucosa) will neither swell it nor shrink it as it is at an equilibrium state by the means of osmotic pressure with it, which is the desired effect to humidify and clean the nasal passageways and the mucous membrane lining it.
Rinosan nasal spray contains Sodium, Potassium and Calcium are Hygroscopic salts.
Hygroscopic effect: is the phenomenon of attracting and holding water molecules from the surrounding environment by Introducing these hygroscopic salts (already dissolved in water and holding it around them) into the nasal cavity will moisten it and humidify it for a long period.
Calcium salt optimizing the function of cilia by increasing ciliary beat frequency (CBF), Regulates the rate of beating and synchronizes the beat among cilia of one single cell as well as between cilia of different cells.
Potassium salt could help greatly in the recovery of damaged cilia and underlying epithelial cells.
